Why a map for people who build things?
Every time I meet another indie hacker in Germany, it feels like an accident. We can discover products, posts and profiles everywhere online, but it is strangely hard to answer a simpler question: who is building things near me?
A directory with geography
justbuild.it is a small answer. One pin is one person. The pin says where they are, what they are making and where you can follow their work. No ranking, no infinite feed and no attempt to keep you on the page.

Germany first
Starting with Germany makes the map concrete enough to be useful and small enough to curate by hand. The underlying idea is not limited to one country. If the loop works here, the map can grow outward later.
The directory is only the introduction. Coffee, collaboration and shared lessons happen somewhere else. That is exactly how it should be.
